COUNTABLE AND UNCOUNTABLE NOUNS
可数名词和不可数名词
1.
Nouns which can be counted are called countable nouns. (books, cows, apples, pencils)
可以计算的名词叫做可数名词。
2.
A and an are used with singular countable nouns. (a chair, an ant)
A和an 用于单数可数名词。
3. A few and many are used with plural countable nouns. (a car- a few car , an egg- many eggs)
A few和many 用于复数可数名词。

Nouns which cannot be counted are called uncountable nouns. (jam, dust, air, water)
不可以计算的名词叫做不可数名词。

A little and much are used with uncountable nouns. ( a little oil, much salt)
