Calligraphy is the essence of Chinese culture, which has

developed into a special high-level art apart from satisfying the

needs of daily writing. It has been flourishing for thousands of

years in China. Shops with strong commercial atmosphere will

gain some elegance if they are decorated with some quaint

cultural calligraphic works. Sitting rooms, studies and bedrooms

can be nice-looking with calligraphy works decorated. As a kind

of art work, the writing of calligraphy is particular. The Chinese

characters are written on Xuan paper which absorbs ink very well

and then are mounted to hang on a wall. The calligraphy works

are mostly a poem or a motto that the host of the room likes it

much; if it is written by the host himself, it will demonstrate more

his aspiration and interest as well as his talent.

书法是中国文化的精粹，除了满足日常书写外，它已经上升成为

今天，妈妈没有空，所以，妈妈叫我一个人去学书法。

Today, my mother is not free, so she asked me to learn

calligraphy alone.

我坐公共汽车到了学校后，先把墨水和纸、笔摆好，然后认真地

写字。第一张，老师就给了我四个红圈，第二张，得了五个红圈，老

师夸我进步了，我听后心里高兴极了！放学后，我竟然把“来”字过

关啦。

When I get to school by bus, I put the ink, paper and pen in

order, and then I write carefully. The first one, the teacher gave

me four red circles, the second one, got five red circles. The

teacher praised my progress, and I was very happy after listening!

After school, I even passed the word "Lai".

放学后回到家，妈妈看着我写的字，一个劲地夸我长大了。

When I came home from school, my mother looked at my

words and praised me for growing up.

Calligraphy is a fine tradition of our Chinese nation. We

should try our best to learn calligraphy well and carry it forward.

写书法首先准备好文房四宝，哪些是文房四宝呢？分别是纸、墨、

毛笔、砚瓦。然后将墨汁倒进砚瓦中磨，再将准备好的白纸平铺在书

画毡上，右手大拇指、食指、中指将毛笔握紧，抬头挺胸，将毛笔蘸

好墨后在纸上书写。

To write calligraphy, first of all, prepare the four treasures of

study, which are the four treasures of study? They are paper, ink,

brush and inkstone. Then pour the ink into the inkstone tile and

grind it, then lay the prepared white paper on the felt of

calligraphy and painting, hold the brush tightly with the thumb,
