摘要：PURPOSE:To prevent large speed change shock and premature wear of friction

elements by prohibiting the speed change shock reducing control for the output torque

of a prime mover in the event of abnormality in any of different sensors, and by changing

over the line pressure characteristics. CONSTITUTION:An automatic transmission

performs speed change by operating friction elements selectively with line pressure, and

during this speed changing, the output torque of a prime mover is increased or

decreased by a torque control means in the period from speed change start to the finish

on the basis of information from sensors so as to reduce the speed change shock. When

a sensing means senses any abnormality in any of the sensors, a torque control

prohibiting means for reduction of speed change shock prohibits increase and decrease

of the torque during speed changing by the torque control means, while a speed

changing line pressure characteristic altering means changes over the speed changing

control characteristic of the line pressure into a characteristic different from at the time

of increasing and decreasing the prime mover output torque by the torque control

means, i.e. normal upshift speed changing characteristic. Thus large speed change shocks

and premature wear of friction elements are prevented.
