Installing the Device on a Wall

●To prevent injuries, check that there is no electrical wire at the locations to be drilled before drilling holes in the wall.

●Flammable and explosive items under the device is prohibited. Leave more than 100 mm of space around the device for proper heat dissipation.

●

在墙上打孔时，必须确认打孔处没有墙电，避免造成人身伤害。

●

设备下方禁止摆放易燃易爆物品，距离设备100mm范围内不能有异物挡住。

Fix the rack-mounting ears.

安装挂耳。

Install the plug bolt.

Mark the hole locations on the wall according to

the device installed with rack-mounting ears.

Installing the SFP Transceiver

SFP收发器的安装

Insert the transceiver with the optical connector

facing outward and the slot connector facing down.

插入SFP收发器，光纤连接口朝外，且插槽朝下。

Connect the LC connector to SFP transceiver.

将光纤的LC连接器连接到光模块上。

Connecting PGND Cables and Power Cables

连接保护地线和电源线

Connect the PGND cable.

连接地线。

Connect the AC power cable.

连接交流电源线。

● Do not connect power cables when the device is powered on, so as to avoid injuries.

● Do not power on the device before device installation and cabling are completed.

● Make sure that the protection grounding cable of the device is grounded.

● The S1700-52R-2T2P-AC can use only AC power supply.

● 严禁带电安装电源线，以免造成人身伤害。

● 严禁在设备安装和布线完成前向设备供电。

● 确定设备保护地线接地。

● S1700-52R-2T2P-AC只支持交流电源。

● Do not stare at optical interfaces. The optical fiber contains laser light sources that hurt human eyes.

● Lay out and bundle power cables, optical fibers, and Ethernet cables separately, with the distances in between longer than 10 cm.

● 不要直视光纤接口，光纤中的激光会伤害眼睛。

● 电源线与信号线缆的间距要大于10厘米。

During the cabling, if the quantity of cables is rather great, you can route the cables in the cabinet first, and then install connectors

to the cables.

布线时，如果线缆数目比较多，为了布线更方便，可以先不做线缆接头，先将线缆在机柜中布置好，再做与设备连接的线缆接头。

Powering on the System

上电检查

● Power on the device only when the input voltage is in the normal range. Test the AC input voltage for S1700-52R-2T2P-AC.

The voltage should range from 100 VAC to 240 VAC.

● After the device is powered on, the PWR LED is on. the port LED status is as shown in below.

● 测试S1700-52R-2T2P-AC的输入电压，若此电压在100-240V交流电正常范围内可将设备上电。

● 设备上电后，PWR电源指示灯亮，端口LED灯状态如下图所示。
