Quick Installation Guide of Ruijie Ethernet PoE Switches

设备安装 Install the switch

将交换机正面朝上置于足够大且干净平稳的桌面上即可。

Place the switch right-side up on a big enough, clean, stable and flat desktop.

设备连接 Connect the switch

本交换机支持端口自动翻转（Auto MDI/MDIX），用网线连接交换机与对端以太网设备时，使用直连线

或交叉线均可。

本交换机PoE端口支持优先级机制，当受电设备的总功耗超过交换机整机最大PoE供电功率时，交换

机将按照1>2>3>4的优先级顺序，切断优先级最低的端口的供电，直至受电设备的总功耗恢复到交换

机整机最大PoE供电功率以内。

All ports of the switch support the auto MDI/MDIX function, so both a straight cable and a

crossover cable can be used to connect the switch to Ethernet devices.

PoE ports of the switch are assigned with power supply priorities, and the priorities

decrease as the port number increases (1 > 2 > 3 > 4). When the total power consumption of

the PoE-powered devices exceeds the maximum output of the switch, the switch starts

cutting the power supply from the port with the lowest priority until the total consumption

is less than the maximum output.

This is a Class A product. In a domestic environment,

this product may cause radio interference, in which

case the user may be required to take adequate

measures.

标准模式：此模式下，交换机为普通非网管型PoE供电交换机，

所有端口之间可以相互通信。

流控关闭：此模式下，交换机关闭所有端口流控，以满足各种复

杂环境的“网络克隆”需求。

端口隔离：此模式下，1~4号端口不能互相通信，但都能与5和

6号端口通信。可以减少广播风暴，隔离DHCP广播。

Solid on: The switch is connected to a power source properly.

Off: The switch is disconnected from a power source or not properly connected

to a power source.

Solid on: The corresponding port is connected to a powered-device, and supply

Blinking: The power consumption of the powered-device connected to the

corresponding port is too large.

Blinking: Data is being transmitted over the corresponding port.

Toggle for switching operating modes

− Standard Mode: In this mode, the switch functions as a common

unmanaged PoE switch, and all ports of the switch can communicate with

each other.

− Flow Control-OFF: In this mode, the switch disables the flow control

function for all ports to meet the demand of PC network clone in various

environments.

*On the real panel

− Port Isolation: In this mode, ports 1 to 4 cannot communicate with each

other, but can communicate with ports 5 and 6 respectively, which helps

reduce broadcast storm and isolate DHCP broadcast.
