To become an astronaut, an individual will need to have

an excellent educational background. They must hold at

least a bachelor's degree, although most astronauts will

have a master's or doctorate degree. Astronaut candidates

are chosen for their intellect and physical fitness, as

well as their ability to adapt to new environments and get

along with a diverse team of others.

Astronauts are highly trained professionals who play a

critical role in space exploration. They have the knowledge

and experience necessary to complete missions in space, and

they are able to work independently and as part of a team.
