句型

(1) It was/will be not long before sb did sth 没过多久，就……/ 过不了多久，就……

(2) It was not long before I finished my work and exhaustedly pull the door.没过多久，我就完成了工作，

筋疲力尽地拉起了门。

(3) It was + 时间点 + when ...当……时，是几点

(4) It was sprinkling when we came in.我们进来的时候正下着小雨。

(5) It is + ... + that 强调句

5.部分倒装

（1）Only + 副词/状语从句/介词短语 + 部分倒装（一般疑问句）.

❖ Only by reliable protection can the precious wild animals be saved from vanishing.只有靠可靠的保护，

（2）否定词 + 部分倒装（一般疑问句）.

6.完全倒装【将句子中的谓语动词全部置于主语之前】

（1）将谓语部分的形容词，v-ing或v-ed置于句首

❖ Engaged in it were students from all grades.参加活动的是各个年级的学生。

（2）表示位置或方位的副词或短语置于句首

❖ To his unbounded astonishment, inside was a pair of shoes of his size, with a card attached to it, reading

“I am appreciative of your company. Don’t walk barefoot in rainy season any more.”让他大为吃惊的

是，里面是一双是他尺寸的鞋子，上面还附了一张卡片，上面写着：“我很感激你的陪伴。别再在

雨季光脚走路了。”

（3）here, there, now, then等副词置于句首

7.非谓语

（1）doing作状语

❖ “Little angel, let me be your legs.” Looking Sally straight in the eye, he promised.“小天使，让我做你的
