The arrow on a sign indicates the way to go.
Blushing implies shyness.
What do you imply by that statement?
He claims to mean one thing, but his choice of words suggests quite another.
The mystery plots imply that anyone could be guilty of the crime.
The mystery plots suggest to the unwary reader a bewildering array of false
leads.
A white flag signifies surrender.
The jury signifies its decision with a show of hands.
