定语从句和状语从句的最大不同之处

状语从句的引导词（连接词）在从句中不充当任何成分，只起到连接作用，而定语从句的引导词（连接词）除了起连接作用之外，还要在从句中要充当某个成分，比如主语、状语等。

在本句中，很多同学看到when，第一反应就是when引导的时间状语从句，这里when所引导的为何是定语从句而非状语从句了？

原因在于when在从句中充当了某个成分，when在从句中代替last week，充当定语从句的时间状语。
