一，ApabiReader安装使用级别

Q：为什么我已经安装了Apabi Reader，下载图书时还提示“您没有安装Apabi Reader、版本不够高或者安装存在问题…….”？

installed was "low", and asked me to install a higher version. I downloaded this

version from your website. Which version should I download so as to avoid this and

A：Apabi电子书采用了先进的数字版权保护技术，直接将一台电脑上下载的ceb文件拷贝到其它电脑上是无法阅读的，遇到这类问题，可以先把借阅的图书归还，然后再在另一台机器上借阅下载。

A：如果您的电脑是vista系统，请到控制面板——用户帐户与家庭安全——用户帐户，点击“打开或关闭用户帐户控制（UAC）”，把方框中的“钩”去掉，然后重启电脑后尝试。

如果您的操作系统是其它操作系统，请您删除reader安装目录（用鼠标右键点击Apabi

A: 可以卸载后重新安装。 卸载后注意要删除安装目录下的所有文件，并删除系统盘document and settings用户名application datafounder下的文件

Q：为什么我输入用户名或密码，点击“登录”后，没有任何反应？

A：只有当您把一台电脑上的借阅的图书全部归还后，才可在另一台电脑上借阅图书。借阅的图书必须在借阅该书的电脑上归还。如果出现这种情况，请您登录数字图书馆网站，点击“个人图书馆”，查看您的“借阅历史”，看是否有还未归还的图书。

are through a proxy server, please open access, select tools - > hint > options -

download list, to see if they could continue to download, try several times.

Q：安装ApabiReader时，报‘灾难性故障，安装程序立即终止’？

Q：我是否可以同时使用一张读书卡在两台电脑上登录借书？

A：只有当您把一台电脑上的借阅的图书全部归还后，才可在另一台电脑上借阅图书。

Q：为什么访问数字资源平台后，进入图书详细页面“下载”按钮变成了“预约”？

A：下载图标变成“预约”，是因为您想要借阅的图书已经都被借走了，必须得等到别的用户归还了您才可以借阅。您可以先“预约”，等这本书可以借阅了，系统将通知您。这跟普通的图书馆是一样的。

this book can borrow, system will inform you. This is the same with common library.

Q：下载的图书保存在什么地方了？如何更改图书保存的位置？

A：下载的图书保存在reader安装目录下的eLibrary文件夹了。您可以在reader的“文档管理器”中直接双击阅读图书。如果您想更改图书保存的位置，请打开reader，选择工具-〉选项-〉网络设置-〉路径设置，更改“文件下载路径”即可。

can be in the reader's "document management" reading books in direct double-click.

If you want to change the position of the book preservation, please open the reader,

Q：借阅的阿帕比电子图书是否可以编辑？

A：可以在借阅的图书上进行划线、标注、添加书签等操作。但无法进行删除、修改等编辑操作。

Q：下载借阅与购买的电子书是什么格式的？

A：电子书店的电子书分为使用电脑阅读的电子书（CEB格式）和使用手持阅读器阅读的电子书（XEB格式）两种。其中使用电脑阅读的电子书具有和纸书版式完全一致的特点，所以它的文字和图片内容清晰、整洁，便于阅读。手持电子书是用来在手持阅读器上阅读的，方便您随时随处享受自己的电子书，不受空间、时间的影响。

Q：下载借阅与购买的电子书是否可以打印？

A：不能。Apabi电子书是正版电子书，为了保护版权，防止非法传播，采用加密技术不允许打印操作，这在电子书店网站上进行了说明。为了满足一般用户的需求，大部分的图书可以拷贝部分文字内容，同时也可以进行快照。每启动一次Reader，限制拷贝文字和快照的次数各7次，每次可拷贝文字为不超过2000字节，每周允许拷贝文字和快照的最大次数各为50次。

A：不能。Apabi电子书是经过加密的，无法转换为不加密的word/pdf/txt格式。

Q: 如何备份图书，以确保重装系统后不用重新下载图书？

A：建议您直接将Apabi Reader安装在非系统盘，重装系统后直接修复reader，并使用原reader注册用户名登录reader完成注册即可。

备份图书，需要备份图书的证书文件和内容文件。

备份图书证书文件的方法：打开Apabi Reader，选择文档-备份证书文件，保存证书文件。

备份图书内容文件的方法：将图书的ceb文件拷贝到重装系统中不格式化的磁盘保存。（查看图书保存位置的方法见上题）

重装系统后恢复备份的方法：打开Apabi Reader，选择文档-恢复证书文件，找到备份的证书文件，恢复。在Apabi Reader的“文档管理器”中，将保存的ceb文件添加到这里。

Q：图书刚下载下来后，打开时显示“打开文件失败”，归还图书时报‘归还失败’？

from Beijing (!). That is not going to be good for customers, so will be eager to discuss

with you the option of having that download launch from the Minneapolis site instead.

Also, I noted that the default settings of Apabi Reader installation prompt (with “yes”

checked) for setting the IE homepage to Apabi, and to have Apabi Reader by the

“default PDF reader.” Libraries will absolutely hate this. Can you see whether that can

be turned off?

Q：访问平台时报不在允许的ip范围内，不能进行ip登录？

Q：We are experiencing problem with accessing our Apabi E-Lib at the moment. That is, on my

University PC which is within our IP range, when I click on IP login, it doesn't work. Previously,

I didn't even have to click on IP login in - it worked automatically on campus. Please notify us

when the about problems solved.

A：此类问题多数情况是，客户访问的ip不在授权允许范围内，客户可以提供准确的ip与阿帕比服务信箱联系，我们会及时给客户处理，同时我们提供了精确的ip测试方式，统一平台产品首页直接可以提示访问ip，其他平台可以通过站点+/来测试访问ip。

A：When you logged in the digital library and borrowed any book on PC1 with an account,

then you can’t borrow any books on PC2 with the same account, only after you returned

every borrowed book on PC1，The resources can only borrow and return on the same

computer.

Q：The university of Kansas is having problems viewing the content for the eBooks,

and I too experience the same problem. I am using Internet Exporer, and I have the

Apabi Viewer software downloaded, but when I try to view full text, the database

asks me for a username/password. The customer has the same problem. I have attached

screen shot from customer and word file with my own screen shots. Can you please

let me know if I have missed setting up some step?

A:这个问题可能是客户使用机构代码时使用了大写方式，此种方式可以造成这种错误。

This problem may be used when customers using code of capital, this kind of means can cause this

mistake.

Q:客户下载电子图书时，在reader下载状态标签中提示 ‘用户不在授权ip范围内’ 错误。

A:查看统一平台的ip授权范围、和用户组ip授权范围是否正常，如果正常可以查看数图数据库的ip范围是否统一平台的一致，还有数图那里的license文件和统一平台的ip范围是否一致。

Q:I was just contacting you to confirm, that we have now been able to successfully set up

access to the Apabi ebooks service, through our proxy server. I also wanted to thank you

for all your help in this matter.I was wondering if you could offer me some further advice

regarding the Apabi website? When we visit the link below, the menu on the left hand side

of the screen appears to have difficulty displaying correctly and an error message appears

regarding an Active X control (please see attached). Could you advise me if you know how

we might be able to resolve this issue?

A: I think that problem could be the Internet Exporer Activex Control was banned,

please operate it according to the attache screen shot. The following three Settings

But I still noticed that we can’t access the newspapers which is really a problem as users

complain – which is never good!

Do you know when the system will be back?

A：We have conducted the full investigation. And the results indicate that the website/station

is working properly, despite the lost newspaper order. We already re-ordered the paper for

you,and it should be back on track now.

我查过了，站点原先是正常的，但是订单丢了，我重新给客户又订了一次。如下图，正常了。
