初中英语高频考点词汇demonstrate、exhibit和reveal的区别

demonstrate、exhibit和reveal是初中英语经常考察的词汇。但是

因为三者都有“展示”的意思，所以大家有时候都不知道该用哪一个词，

在使用时会经常弄混淆。现从它们的词义表述来进行区分。

trate指用实例说明，展示，目的是告诉别人如何使用或

操作。

如：

He demonstrateed how to use the new computer.

t指公开的展示，特别是展示值得观赏的东西。

如：

she exhibi t her paintings at agallery.

：显示"，"揭示"reveal的对象一般原来是隐藏或隐秘不为

人所知的。

如：

The company is set to reveal its new product this afternoon.

surprising, interesting,boring令人…的，主语是物thing（或修饰

thing）

surprised,interested,bored感到…的，主语是人

一、

1）surprised 形容词，意思是“感到惊讶的”。

主语是人，出自主观感受

常用结构：be surprised at sth 对某事感到惊讶

We were surprised at his arrival（到达）be surprised to do sth 做某

事而感到惊讶

She was surprised to find her handbag missing.

be surprised + that从句 因...而惊讶

I was surprised that these houses stay up for such a long time.让我

惊讶的是，这些房子呆这么长时间。

2）surprising 形容词，意思是“令人感到惊讶的”。主语是物，或

是修饰物。这里在记忆时，可以形象的去记忆，物的英语是thing，

所以-ing要用于物相关的。

1）bored指人（自己感觉）很无聊，出自主观感受的。

如：

I got bored 自己感到很无聊。

2）boring指物或修饰物

如：

The game is boring

三、

1）interested

有被动意义，意为“感兴趣的”，其主语或修饰的名词只能是人，

其后常接介词in或动词不定式

2））interesting

“有趣的”，主语是物或修饰物
