Graphics Driver Installation Order

*This guide is for MSI GT72 and GT80.

*NOTE:

If the system installation process doesn’t follow the below order when

installing the graphics driver, the GPU switch button may not work properly and

there will be a system error message popping up when installing Intel graphics

driver.

1. Download all needed driver from MSI website. (NVIDIA/Intel Graphics driver and SCM)

2. Install NVIDIA Graphics driver.

3. Follow the instruction to finish installing the SCM. When the system restart reminder

shows up, choose “yes” to restart the system.

4. After the system resrtart, press the GPU button to switch to integrated graphics (UMA GPU)

mode. Click “OK” to restart the system and switch to integrated graphics mode.

5. Install Intel graphics driver and restart the system after the installation process.

6. Now the installation is complete, you can use the GPU switch button to manually swtich to

different GPU mode.
