account of 与because of 用法

account of 的意思，它的意思是因为，由于，强调因果关系，是

一个介词短语，译同because of 、owing to、due to。

The flight was postponed on account of bad weather.

因为天气恶劣，飞行延期了。

The match was postponed on account of the weather.

基于天气关系，比赛延期进行。

He is in a state of deep depression on account of his failure to

pass the examination.

他因考试不及格深感沮丧。
