been committed to working together with local OEMs, Internet Service Providers and software

China Presence

Branch Offices: Intel has 12 branch offices on mainland of China: Beijing,

Chengdu, Chongqing, Fuzhou, Guangzhou, Harbin, Jinan,

Nanjing, Shanghai, Shenyang, Wuhan and Xi’an. The

company’s regional headquarters office is in Hong Kong

Special Administrative Region (SAR).

Intel China Research Center: An information technology research and development center

in Beijing, explores Internet-related issues and information

technology disciplines such as speech recognition that have

particular relevance to Chinese applications. Dr. Robert Yung is

the director of the center and chief technology officer for Intel

China. The development of the center is going smoothly.

Manufacturing: Intel’s flash memory assembly and test facility is in the

Waigaoqiao Free Trade Zone, Pudong, Shanghai.

iADL: Intel’s software lab in China, called the Intel Architecture

Development Laboratory (iADL) is located in Shanghai.
