做家务特色作业英语作文
One day, I decided to surprise my parents by doing some
household chores. I started with the dishes, stacking them
neatly and running the tap water. The soapy bubbles felt
like a mini-party in my hands as I scrubbed away the food
remnants.
Next, I moved to the living room and took a deep breath.
The dust seemed to be mocking me, but I wasn't deterred. I
grabbed the vacuum cleaner and let it do its magic, sucking
up all the dirt and crumbs. The room looked brand new!
The kitchen floor was next on my list. I pulled out the
mop and bucket, filled it with water and some floor cleaner.
The scent of lemon filled the air as I pushed and pulled
the mop, leaving behind shiny tiles.
But my favorite chore was making the bed. I loved
fluffing up the pillows and spreading the sheets evenly. It
was like creating a cozy nest for myself to crawl into
after a long day. The finished bed looked so inviting!
Finally, I couldn't resist tidying up my bookshelf. I
organized my books by subject, stacked my favorite novels
on top, and even found a few hidden gems I'd forgotten
about. It felt good to have my space looking so neat and
organized.
