forcetheoutputofthereceivertoalogic0(HI-1567)or

logic1(HI-1568).

Tominimizethepackagesizeforthisfunction,the

transmitteroutputsareinternallyconnectedtothereceiver

inputs,sothatonlytwopinsarerequiredforconnectionto

ignsrequiring

independentaccesstotransmitterandreceiver1553

signals,pleaserefertotheHI-1569datasheet.

isolationtransformerandtwo55ohmisolationresistors

betweenthetransformerandthebus.

Inatransformercoupledinterface(seeFigure3),the

transceiverisconnectedtoa1:1.79isolationtransformer

whichinturnisconnectedtoa1:1.4couplingtransformer.

Thetransformercoupledmethodalsorequirestwo

couplingresistorsequalto75%ofthebuscharacteristic

impedence(Zo)betweenthecouplingtransformerandthe

bus.
